Implementasi Pembelajaran Khat Melalui Ekstrakurikuler Qolamuna Sebagai Upaya Menumbuhkan Minat Menulis Arab Santri PP Al-Luqmaniyyah Yogyakarta

This research aimed to know the implementation of Khat Learning through Qolamuna LQ as an attempt to generate interest in Arabic writing for the students of Islamic dormitory school Al-Luqmaniyyah Yogyakarta. The method used was the descriptive qualitative method. This research was conducted at Al-Luqmaniyyah Islamic Boarding School, Yogyakarta. The research subject used was the Qolamuna LQ extracurricular with a sample of students who acted as chairmen and members of the Qolamuna LQ extracurricular. This study uses observation and interviews as data collection techniques. The Research results that Khat learning is divided into three core stages, namely 1) the preparation by the fulfillment of materials, 2) the implementation by explain the lesson, imitation, tracing letters and words, and drilling to write one letter, and write short Quran verses, 3) The evaluation of learning independently and collectively. Independent evaluation likes students will compare their khat with the examples given and discuss it with their friends. Collective evaluation is giving comments from mentor and advices related to mistakes in writing. Khat learning activities at the Qolamuna LQ can generate student’s interest in Arabic writing. This is evidenced by the growth of interest originating from internal motivational factors and social motives.
