Peer Review Process

Jurnal Tifani uses a double-blind peer review process: the identities of authors and reviewers are concealed from each other. Every manuscript that passes the initial screening is evaluated by at least two reviewers with expertise in the topic.

Review workflow

  1. Submission. The author submits the manuscript through the OJS system using the journal template.
  2. Initial screening. The editor checks scope, template compliance, and originality (similarity check, see the Plagiarism Policy). Manuscripts that do not meet the requirements may be returned or declined.
  3. Peer review. The manuscript, with author identity removed, is sent to at least two reviewers.
  4. Editorial decision. Based on the reviewers' reports, the editor decides: accept, minor revision, major revision, or decline.
  5. Revision. Authors revise the manuscript and upload a response to the reviewers' comments within the deadline set by the editor.
  6. Final decision and publication. Accepted manuscripts proceed to copyediting, layout, proofreading, and publication.
