Plagiarism Policy
Jurnal Tifani accepts only original work. Every submitted manuscript is checked for similarity before it is sent to peer review, and must be at least 75% original (maximum similarity index of 25%).
≥ 75%Minimum originality
≤ 25%Maximum similarity
What counts as plagiarism
- Copying text, data, figures, or ideas from other sources without proper citation
- Self-plagiarism: reusing substantial parts of the author's own published work without citation
- Duplicate or redundant publication of the same results in more than one journal
- Submitting a manuscript that is under consideration by another journal
How plagiarism is handled
- Before review. Manuscripts above the similarity limit are returned to the author for revision or declined.
- During review. If plagiarism is detected, the review process is stopped and the manuscript is declined.
- After publication. Proven plagiarism leads to the article being retracted, following COPE guidelines.
Recommended checking tools are listed in the sidebar under Plagiarism & Language Check. See also the journal's Publication Ethics.
